Tracy Shen, AIF®, ChFC®

Tracy Shen is the Founder and Managing Partner of Florin Group, an RIA firm advocating holistic multi-generational planning.

Her 28 years of experience, along with living with her in-laws for almost 15 years, brings her a unique skillset for her multi-generational clients. The firm specializes in working with adult children who are taking care of their aging parents and all the challenges they face. The firm also works with many widows and seniors to help with their distribution strategies and navigate the complex world of aging in place. In addition, sustainable impact investing is an essential part of thoughtful investing. Thriving on delivering excellent personable client service, Tracy and her team focus on kindness and compassion when working with clients.

Tracy earned her B.S. in Finance from the University of Maryland and is also a Chartered Financial Consultant (CHFC). She has been a qualifying member of the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) of The Premier Association of Financial Professionals since 2004.

Constantly striving to expand her knowledge, skills and certifications to better serve her clients, she is currently pursuing her Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation at American College. Tracy also runs a monthly senior networking group called Loving Life Connections and attends several senior related educational classes to gain a better understanding of helping the senior community.

Tracy and her husband Tom are raising two beautiful daughters and a border collie mix named Leo in Virginia.
